Lovers Lake Gate is the theory where Will will fall\dive\be in Lovers Lake, and Mike will save him. Here is some evidence that I put together!
At the very very bottom right of this image we have a clip from a post from the Duffer Brothers. Credited is a water safety stunt rigger. This means underwater scenes, and only Mike and Will are wet, there are no other photos of anyone else being as wet as they are.
The Lovers Lake photo with an "H" above it is another photo that the Duffer Brothers posted about season 5, implying that Lovers Lake will play a part in the new season.
Here we can see Mike holding a YELLOW tape measure to Lovers Lake. Some people take this as more evidence towards the theory.
